*Completed*John Bailey COLES : Census lookup please

I would appreciate help in locating John B. (Bailey or perhaps Bayley) COLES in 1841, 1851 and 1861 census returns.

As far as I can make out, he was born in about 1781 in Wiltshire, and he married Sarah ATKINS in Hampreston in 1817. He is variously described as a Gentleman and as Grocer!

It looks as if he died in Wimborne RD in the March Quarter of 1862 (#5a-195) so he should still be around in 1861.

Any help would be very welcome.

Using this search function, I have managed to confirm his marriage to Sarah ATKINS, but for some reason other Census Entires aren't coming up.

Using the Ancestry.com site, I can see an entry for John Bailey COLES in 1851 in Dorset, and in 1861 I'm sure he is under the name John B COLES, also in Dorset.

He and his wife Sarah had a son named Theophilus John Bailey COLES, baptised in Wiltshire in 1824,  so that may be another way of finding the family, especially in 1841 when he is likely to have been at home still.

Not every parish has got  census details on the site and not every parish has all the censuses.

If you type "John Coles" in their search box you should find a variety of entries, including any census; although it might not be your John Coles.
