*Completed*Martha Bailey COLES: Census Lookup Please

I would be grateful if SKS could please look up Martha Bailey COLES, born about 1787 probably in Maiden Bradley, Wilts.

She died in April 1868, so should appear in 1841, 1851 and 1861.

Unfortunately her brother Theophilus Ponting COLES died in May 1841, and since the census was taken early in June, his name would not appear.

Any help would be most gratefully received. I am keen to find whether Martha was living with other members of the family in any of the censuses.

Home of Henry FIBBENS 52 Upholsterer b Bath and his wife Mary

The household is large (I would say a whole page - its over 2) All Boarders - a lot of elderly women fundholders but not all aged and not all female and not all fundholders, although none of them appear to be poor folk.

No luck in 1851

There is Martha COLES 50 b Maiden Bradley visiting William Bradley from Yorks and wife Doro from Nottingham, in Mount Howe, Topsham, Devon. No Occ unm but age seems too far out to be yours. Also visitor Louisa Burt 23 Drapers Dau from Shepton Mallet.

Given the relative commonness of the names Martha and  Coles, and the many ways in which they seem to be transcribed, this is an excellent and very helpful bit of detective work.
