shipwrecks in ireland
« on: Monday 31 January 05 19:09 GMT (UK) »
My father was shipwrecked off the Tuskar Rock,,03-02-1927,he was on the Sheerness,he was commended for his bravery and it was reported in an Irish newspaper ,it was quite a large article,as my family are getting older some said they would like to see the article again, and gave me the task of finding it,he was landed in County Wicklow,so if anyone has any ideas of how to find the paper of that area it would be a great help ,then maybe they might still have it in their archives.
