1871& 1881 census Richard Nield

here is what I have so Far..

Richard Norman Nield,

Richard Norman Neild (spelling on Birth reg ) in 1893 was Born in oswaldtwistle.. found on lancs births He married later a grace Thompson..

His parents Being Richard Nield and Annie Woodhouse..

However I find the 1901 Uk census has the family as follows
 Paxton Court
Accrington
Richard Head Age 33 B :Liverpool
Annie age 30 B Morecambe
Mary J Age 12 B accrington
Florrie age 9 b accrington
richard N Age 7 B accrington..
Edward age 5..

1891 census has them36 crown street accrington

Richard 23 B Liverpool
Annie 19 B Morecambe
Mary J age 2 B oswaldtwistle..

However I cant trace him aged 13 on 1881( there is one in a boarding school aged 13 but im unsure as birth is birkenhead) or aged 3 on 1871 ... not a record for a liverpool birth in approx 1868.. I have tried variations wondering if a new pair of eyes would help..

He may be under a different surname if he was either illegit and mum remarried or if his father died and mum re-married

A copy of his marriage cert may help (post a lookup request as church is known)

Just in the hope that his father turns out to be William - a stone mason - then he is Richard NEIL b 1867 in 1871 ref  RG10; Piece: 3794; Folio: 100; Page: 23

In 1881 the family is in York transcribed as NEEL ref: RG11
Piece  4344 Folio 89   Page 35

I have found the information on the marriage...

As follows Richard Nield Aged 20 Father Richard
Married Annie woodhouse aged 18 father edward woodhouse on the 4th August 1888 FHL film 1470823

Have got the woodhouse line with no problems but still looking in 1871 for a 3 yr old richard wtih father ?
