William Allison: Drogheda
« on: Friday 10 October 08 21:32 BST (UK) »
Hi

Can anyone give me an information on William Allison. All I know is that he was in the Royal Irish Rifles and died at home (presumably in Drogheda) from wounds on 14/11/1914. I am especially looking for a place of burial.

Regardsa

The Commonwealth War Graves records a William Allison, Private, 7864, 1st Batt of the Royal Irish Fusliers who died on 14/11/1914.  He is recorded on the Brookwood Memorial (UK 1914-1918) which was erected in 2004 for soldiers with no known grave.  Go to this link for further details.
