PAYNE Family - Abbot's Langley

Hello

Is anyone out there researching the Payne family from Abbot's Langley?

Oliver Payne (b 1781) was my husband's greatx3 grandfather.  He married Elizabeth Sage in Abbot's Langley in 1812. Oliver's siblings were:

William b 1778
John b 1784
Frederic b 1785
George b 1788
Sarah b 1790

All were born and christened in Abbot's Langley. Their parents were John Payne and Jane but I have no marriage details for them and don't know if they were both originally from Abbot's Langley or not.

I would be happy to hear from anyone who thinks they may have a link.

i have a Payne family but in Harpenden Hertfordshire but i only have mine back as far as 1840 , their not my blood relations but still they could be connected to yours .

Yes, there certainly could be a link. Keep in touch if you find anything and I'll do likewise. Oliver Payne had 10 children born between 1813 and 1836. His son Benjamin, b 1834 actually moved to London and had his own butcher's shop. So from then onwards our Payne's are London based.
