COMPLETE Moorgate Cemetery, Rotherham MI - Bower

Hello,

I am hoping that someone may be able to look up the Monumental Inscriptions for me and find what I believe is my great grandfathers grave.
I don't have specific grave location or number, just name and burial date.
I would appreciate any information or direction.

Hi there

I have looked at the MIs for Moorgate (from Rotherham FHS) and there doesn't seem to be a transcription for Thomas George . You could ask for a look up of the burial record, they are I believe in Sheffield and there is lots of information on there usually, I have found occupations, birthplace, parents names etc so brilliant source of info

Looking up the burial record makes better sense as well.  I will post a request for a look-up, failing that It appears that I may be able to order the single CD from the Rotherham FHS.  I will put it on my X-Mas want list.

Hello - I believe this info may surprise you but I suspect we may have the same family history,  Is the Thomas George Bower died 1946 the same who married Mary Anne Cartwright?  If so I have more info for you
