Strange how John Owen is listed as brother, possibly her son out of wedlock?

I located a Rees Price aged 20, unm, lodger at 39 Dumfries St, Ystradyfodwg, Glam [RG11/5301/79/27] which could be our man.

I also located a Death for a Jane Price of the right age [32] in Bedwellty Sept Qtr 1892

Failed to find his 2nd marriage to Margaret !!!!!!!!!![1901 census]

Hi again Roy,

What I see strange is that in 1891 at the age of 32 she is claiming to be the mother of 27 year old William. The only explanation I can think of is that she had married William's father who was much older and had died by 1891.

I'll check and see if I can find them in 81 if only to satisfy my own curiosity

Hi Roy,

Curiosity satified 

William is with his father, a widower aged 43. His name John O Jones.  So that is where young John Owen got his name.
There is a marriage in 1881 in Festiniog for a John Jones and Margaret Jones. 
Also in case it was a rushed job  for young John O's sake there is one in 1882. 

There is a death for a John Jones aged 46 in Festiniog 1885.
