Is this a boy?

Last one for a while (maybe  ;) )

This young "person" is reputed to be a boy born 1876 - is that about right 'cos I think "he" looks like a "she"  ???

Any help would be very much appreciated

My first instinct is boy.  Not looking at the hair, the face looks boyish to me.  Also the boots look to me to be boys shoes.  Prue would be able to say for sure.

 Agree with the others boy definitely.If this were a girl it would be completely
different,more frills bows & ribbons,also a doll or basket prop.
