Sproul Family - Co. Tyrone
« on: Friday 17 October 08 23:51 BST (UK) »
Hello All:

I am new to this site so jsut finding my way around.  I am looking for any information or connections to the Sproul family.  All I know for sure is that James Sproul b 1803 married  Rebecca Baxter b. 1805.  Apparently they married c 1825 in Co. Tyrone then immigrated to Canada 1833 on the Edward Reid from Londonderry to New Brunswick.  They had five children when they immigrated.  Does this sound like anyone elses family history as well.

Thanks
Zippy ???

Hello Tony

Place name is unknown other than passenger record shows from Co. Tyrone.  My grandfathers family was raised anglican so have always assumed Church or Ireland/England.  Don't know if that helps.

regards
