Susan Bishop of Hemingford Grey

Hello, 

Could someone please check the Hunts Marriage Index to see if it has a Susan Bishop marriying Thomas Walker about 1835.

Susan Bishop baptised Hemingford Grey 1813 - could she be the Sarah Walker b 1811 H G, that appears on all censuses 1841 - 1881 living in Hemingford Abbots, wife of Thomas Walker b 1810 H A. Their first chilld Thomas was b 1836.

Oddly there's no marriage against either Walker or Bishop. Let me look further

Even odder was that I couldn't see a Thomas or Susan WALKER in any census.

Did find Thomas and Susan WATSON though, who fitted the bill.

1835 Thomas WATSON of HA married Susan SAWYER at HG

Don't worry John, I'll look after you! Thought I was the one who had senior moments

Thanks David, Don't know how Walker got in there, it is Watson.

Anyway don't matter now as it's not Susan Bishop, unless she was Susan Sawyer, widow ?    Note the Watson/Sawyer marriage is on the IGI as member submissions.   

Back to drawing board ... 

... is there a burial of Susan Bishop priior to 1841 ?

No burials of Susan Bishop in Hunts that fit a birth c1813

The marriage index doesn't describe Susan Sawyer as widow (and there's no Sawyer/Bishop marriage either)
