Is someone able to look up the Parish records for a Margaret McDonald b. abt. 1855 Alvie Inverness - Shire.
I am trying to establish her fathers name. I have her in the 1861 Census with her mother Ann McDonald, brother Donald b. abt. 1850, grandfather Donald MACDonald. Other members were "grandsons"! all with different surnames (related to whom I'm not sure Ann or Donald, very confusing entries ?) mother named "Ann" however & a boarder family.
In the 1871 census I have Margaret in Old Machar reform school with a Williamina McDonald b. abt 1860, Inverness, relationship unknown (hoping sister) & desparately trying to establish.
Should Margaret be found & her father is named as William is it possible to seach for Williamina.
