Would someone be kind enough to lookup the baptism of Robert E. Hewitt born circa 1873 in Ware, Hertford. I believe his parents are Robert and Harriett and am trying to confirm Harriett's maiden name.

Hi,

Many thanks. This is what I suspected but this raises a mystery for me.  I have a birth certifcate for a George Isaac Hewitt (born Southrepps, Norfolk) who's parents are given as Isaac Hewitt and Harriett Harvey, yet she is supposed to be in married to Isaac's brother Robert.  I have been given information what Isaac Hewitt actually married Harriett Larke but then how come the birth certificate says otherwise.

the kensington marriage I think can be rules out -as there is an Isaac and Harriet Hewitt in kensington 1881

So if issac did marry harriet larke -is here any sign of him being in the N.O.T. area???

Wonder if the registrar just made a mistake?

How about sending for birth cert of one of robert's children?
