James Buckley, carder, married Nancy Holden at Bolton Parish Church (St. Peter) 15 November 1818.  They had several children and on 26 June 1851 their fifth child, Mary, was christened at Bolton Parish Church.  The entry reads 26 June 1831, Mary, daughter of James and Nancy Buckley, carder, Little Bolton

and i have a susannah lees marrying a comerford in my tree as well
thanks Michele

 :D :D :D

Sorry Michele

But since the original post in February '05, I have found that my Manchester/Salford BUCKLEYS were, in fact, from Cheshire.  No Bolton connection I'm afraid.

Regards
