Have you found Margaret & Peter Allan in the 1861 census? Do you think that Margaret was a daughter in law of George Barclay? He did have a daughter Margaret & she was baptised in 1824.She is living with her parents & siblings in 1841 census in Charlotte Street. There was a William born circa 1828.Could this have been your Margaret's husband? I got the 1841 & 1851 census details from freecen. What was Margaret's maiden name by the way?
