Could someone please lookup the 1841 Census For Maria Appleby Born Northumberland in 1838
her father was Henry Appleby

I can't see a Maria Appleby of right age but there is a Martha age 3 with father Henry in Morpeth with  a Maria age 15 in the same family so maybe the younger one was known as Martha?? Happy to post full details if you think this could be your young lady.

This is the Family Mary was his wife born in 1796 there was a Son edward born in 1816 but he will haved moved on I think he was born in Northumberland.  Did you say the rest of the Family were born in county Durham

1841 only states whether someone was born in the county the census was taken or not - in this case everyone in the family had Yes for born in Northumberland.
