Hi Janet cannot help you with your query but hoping you can help me,my sister in law was a martin and I have been helping her with her tree her GGGgrandfather William Martin was living in east retford nottingham on1851 census he gives his birth place as derby derbyshire his wife was ann ward who he married in 1808,but I thought he might have been married twice first to ruth handley then ann ward have you any thoughts on this am i right or wrong...margaret
