By any chance could somebody tell me where to start looking for this young man ? I've got feelers out for his grave but I wondered if I could find out anything else without going into the privacy realms !!  :)

Name - AVEY, GERALD RUSSELL

If it's the same family..They already had lost three children in the same years in which they were born  :-\ and another at age seven

Both these airmen's service records are available at Library and Archives Canada.

AVEY, Gerald Russell From Nowich, Ontario. KIA age 21 5 Mar 1943. Lancaster aircraft crashed. Buried in Long Bennington Cemetery, Lincolnshire, England.

LANDRY, Rene Rodger From Norman, Ontario. KIA 5 Mar 1943 age 23. Lancaster aricraft ED 549 crashed at Plungar. Landry and Avey along with 4 other crew members not Canadians were also killed. One crew member was slightly injured.
