An Octave & Edna (Martin) were having children in Sudbury Ontario around the right time...
If it's the same family..They already had lost three children in the same years in which they were born  and another at age seven

AVEY, Gerald Russell From Nowich, Ontario. KIA age 21 5 Mar 1943. Lancaster aircraft crashed. Buried in Long Bennington Cemetery, Lincolnshire, England.

LANDRY, Rene Rodger From Norman, Ontario. KIA 5 Mar 1943 age 23. Lancaster aricraft ED 549 crashed at Plungar. Landry and Avey along with 4 other crew members not Canadians were also killed. One crew member was slightly injured.
