NRO Lookup please
« on: Friday 31 October 08 23:24 GMT (UK) »
Could someone who is visiting the Norfolk Record Office be so kind as to do the following two PR lookups for me:

John TODD marriage to Esther HAYLETT 1788 Horning - interested in all info (particularly parents and which parish John is from - I suspect he isn't from Horning).

Esther HAYLETT baptism circa 1764 in Horning

Many thanks

Early marriage records only give the fathers name not mothers but you can sometimes get lucky with witnesses.

I dont think they give the parish , :-\  its usually just "of this parish"

The marriage was 30 March 1788 at St Benedict's.

Unfortunately, no parents or parish, but witnesses are James Duck and Ann Barwick.

James Duck is witness at several other marriages, so I would guess he was Church Warden or similar position.  :-\

Ann Barwick is also witness at the marriage of Edward Leist to Elizabeth Beckett on 28 July 1789.
