Gravestones in Old Dalbeth Cemetery

Hi All,

Revisited Old Dalbeth today and its really nice to see the clear up coming along, still lots to go but its looking better everytime. I took the advantage of the nice day to jump over the wall and have photographed all the surviving stones (100 plus photographs). I intend to list the names and year of death on the ones I can make out over the space of next week so anyone wishing to know if their relations stone has survived give me thier names and if there I will send the photo to you.

What a transformation!

I wish a lot of the other old Churchyards would get the same treatment. In fact, I wish half the Cemeteries would too!

This seems to be the weather for jumping/climbing walls as there's a few threads on the go with that as an option. Makes it all much more worthwhile - especially if you find someone you've been hunting for.

Yeah it would be Anne, And although I didnt find my relations if I manage to have found even one others relation then it will have been worth my while.
