Hi Gerry,

Can I ask if you have any Marrens Campbells or McFadyens among your photos.

I did the same as yourself recently, but there was not very many left standing.

Thanks

Has anyone found any Docherty's in Old Dalbeth Cemetery?  Been having a hard time trying to locate my gr gr grandparents, Martha and Michael Docherty.  I believe they did die sometime between 1851 and 1861.  They were Irish Scots from the area, but I believe they were very poor, as most of the Irish immigrants were.  I have had no luck at all.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gerry
Thank you so much for finding the grave of my g grandparents James and Maryann McElhinney. I knew they were buried in Old Dalbeth but had been told by Archdiocese that it was not possible  to visit the cemetary because of the poor state of the place. Great to see the improvement.

Just catching up with this thread. Just a post to say thanks to Gerry for his hard work on this.

I now have located many of my Irish forefathers who left Ireland and are buried in the common ground in Dalbeth. This graveyard really has untold stories awaiting to be uncovered.
