Lookup William Gibson and Family

I have a spur of the Russell Family that I am researching and apart from Marriage and Children,s dates of birth I am unable to reliably bring this family into the19th Century.

Janet Russell born 29th Aug 1772 in Crawford, Lanarkshire Married William Gibson of no fixed age or birthplace 

They got married on the 18th  Jan 1795 in Crawfordjohn, Lanarkshire.

Their Children were all born in Glenbuck, Muirkirk

James Gibson born 5th Nov 1798
Elizabeth Gibson born 8th Jun 1801
Janet Gibson born 12th Dec 1803
Agnes Gibson born 13th Mar 1806
William Gibson born 22nd May 1808

I looked at that entry in the census but was not confident enough to attach it to my tree as I have veered of track in the past and ended up deleting a long line of one family which I had added and then realised that I had gone wrong.
