Hi folks
Sorry to be a nuisance, I was hoping to be able to look for this myself but the "back door" I had to Gales 16-19th C. papers seems to have closed.

I'm looking for the Obituary (rather than death notice) of
William Newton, architect, who died April 1798 In St Andrew, Newcastle.

Also a death Notice and/or Obit. for Robert Newton, who died 1789.

Unless of course there is another back door open somewhere, which would be very useful

I still have that link  but it's only for the 19th Century papers. I need the earlier ones which I've accessed before on one of the Gale sites.

To access all Gale's available databases, on the 19th century newspapers page, you'll see a small link on the very top toolbar, "Change Databases." That will take you to the menu for earlier papers.

Or you should be able to go direct to the database menu from

http://find.galegroup.com/menu/commonmenu.do?userGroupName=britlibtr
