had married again to Ann Cheal but apparently i was wrong.  What does the TP at the end of

Hi another question.  When my William Dumbrell married Henrietta she died at child
birth in l842 I have her particulars but I always wondered whether the child grew up or
what happened.  I think it was a boy and he would of been born in l842 at the later
part of the year like October.

Hi

Looking at the Burial register for St John Sub Castro - the next church to South Malling - we have the following

1892   August   3   Dumbrell   Edmund   m      79   Preston   143
1842   January   16   Dumbrell   Ellen   f      1.5
1876   August   2   Dumbrell   Jane   f      97      142
1883   April   6   Dumbrell   Philadelphia   f   St Peters   71   Brighton   143
1856   January   27   Dumbrell   Richard   m      73
1839   August   4   Dumbrill   Ann   f      55
1931   January   27   Dumbrill   Arthur   m   The Infirmary   48   Chailey

There is a Headstone to the Jane who died in 1876

Hope that has not made your research more confusing

Hello
Thanks for all that info yes I am confused. Did you find any child that would have been born in l842 mother Henrietta and William Dumbrell at Lewes I think.  Maybe you could send all of this on one piece of paper so it does not look alot.  I think you still have my email e-mail address removed to prevent spamming I know I am not supposed to put email address on this site.

Hi and welcome to rootschat.
It might be a good idea to modify your post (click that button) and remove your email address as we generally use our own personal message system to exchange such information in order to prevent spamming etc.   Possibly a moderator will do it for you.
If you reply to this then it should activate the pm system but it does look as if Goldilocks has not been on for some years.  However, if her email has not changed then a pm should reach her.  Click on the letter icon under the user name.
I do hope you manage to make contact.

Hi there joysie21

If you scroll down to "reply 36" you will find all the Dumbrell burials at South Malling in date order - please note different spellings

That might help you solve the problem
