:) hi tidybooks   yes i do have this info on the 1841 & 1851 census but really appreciate your effort i believe he married  before the wife in these census her name i believe was Ann as i have a parish record for there son William Ignatius Gibson 8/oct/1826 at 9, foley street, marylebone at All Souls Church Marylebone to James & Ann  Gent. and there is a gap of eight years from William to Robert so maybe Ann died but have not found first marriage to Ann or second marriage to Elizabeth but will keep searching any other info you find would be fantastic.  regards  chris

Hi,

I saw this post and was wondering if you have any further information on the son James Gibson b 1838, I am trying to track down a James Gibson born in that year, as my great grandfather was James Gibson. We are trying to build our family tree and it all stops with just a name.

James Gibson b 1838 is my gt gt gt grandfther.
He died in Levin, New Zealand in 1895.
I don't have as much info on him as I would like but feel free to contact me. I have done a DNA test so potentially some in this thread have already matched to me.

My main tree on Ancestry is the Pook/Forsyth/Eales/Roach Family Tree.

Pook.    (Dorset. Kent. NZ)
Spicer.  (Buckland Newton)
Forsyth. (Fyvie, Scotland.  London, England.  NZ)
