« on: Thursday 03 February 05 15:25 GMT (UK) »
Hi there

I am looking for Samuel Merrett born 1838 in Stroud, he is possibly still living with his parents Reuben Merrett and Eliza Maria.

Many thanks

Hi Dorothy,

here are Rueben & Eliza on the 1861 - Samuel is not with them. I can't read the 17 year old son's Christian name - it looks something like - Adelphus?

Thanks for this it is much appreciated, they had a son called Adolphus so that will be the one that you can't read.

Thanks again

Glad you knew the name Dorothy - I was going to put Adolphus but it definitely looked like an 'e' so I didn't want to give my interpretation of it.

Thanks for that.
