Hi, hope some one can help me.I am researching my family tree and have gotten as far back as my great great grandfather.My family are from Inishowen(Redcastle) and I am trying to locate some Limericks.
1. Margaret Limerick; she married my gr gr gr grandfather Charles Doherty from Inishowen circa18/3040,s and moved eventually to Glasgow where she died.Her parents were Robert Limerick(shoemaker) and Catherine. She was born circa 1815/20.
2.Sally Limerick who was in the Griffiths for Ballylawn Inishowen for 1857.There was also a Robert Limerick(brother?).
There seem to be very few Limericks ,only 5 or 6 families around the 1857 Griffiths and they where in Tamlagh Finlagan so I presume that they are all related.From online surfing I found out that there was a Robert Limerick born in Ballykelly in 1801,maybe Margaret,s father?
Ant help would be gratefully appreciated as it is getting to the end of my search and it in the final piece that has me hitting a brick wall!
