Looking for grave stones in Kingussie, Iverness
« on: Sunday 09 November 08 02:15 GMT (UK) »
Hello from the United States. My great grandmother's family is from Scotland. I would like to locate some or any/all grave stones of her family. I would like pictures taken since I might not ever be able to visit them myself. I don't have any clue as to where any of them might be buried. I only know where they were living when they died. Following is a list of names, birth and death dates and where they died.

Can anybody help me?

John Cameron (1815-1894) Died in Newtonmore, Kingussie
Isabella (Rose) Cameron (1820-1896) Died in Newtonmore, Kingussie

William Ross (1844-1906) Died in Newtonmore, Kingussie
Annie (Cameron) Ross (1858-1929) Died in Newtonmore, Kingussie

Scott,

No, but I will be retiring next month and will be returning to the Highlands and will stop off at Kingussie to check the graveyard out one more time.

That and as one of my businesses will be a genealogy consultancy, I will start photographing graveyards to set up a web-site service.

but soon to be

We'll see if I can take a look at the graveyard in early April when I move back up to the Highlands.  E-mail me a month from now to see if I have had any success.

Cheers,
