Edith Scragg & Abel Layton

Hello,

I am looking for information on Edith Scragg. She was born in 1894 and married Abel Layton in 1915, at Lenton. Abel died soon after as he was killed in action during WWI. Edith was living at 309 Castle Boulevard, Lenton at the time. Edith married Leonard Johnson later in 1916 and they had a child Jack H Johnson born 1921 and Joseph Johnson born 1922. Abel Layton was my great uncle and any information would be appreciated.

I notice thay married in Nottingham

The 1901 census has 2 entries for an Edith Scragg b 1894

b Macclesfield - parents William H & Amy
b Sandbach - parents John R and Eliza

but freebmd has this entry although there is no 1901 entry for an Edith Scragg b Notts
