« on: Thursday 20 November 08 22:06 GMT (UK) »
Hello, does  anyone have information regarding the Morris family, Llanrug. GG Thomas Morris, who married a Mary Jones who died on the birth of my grandmother, Mona Morris. His father was Thomas Morris who was the owner of the Mill in Crawia. They had several children, Hugh, Thomas (my greatgrandfather) Winne, Pheobe, Martha, Jemima. All Morris. 1901 census. Anybody any info to help me get further on this.

Thanks.

I have some photos of Llandeiniolen Church and grounds, if you're interested.
My ancestors were Jones and Williams living in Bethel.

Hi you got in touch re Morris link in LLanrug.
I am not sure if it is the same branch of Morris's but my great Auntie Mary Winnie Owen married Thomas Edward Morris on 20th September 1912. He was 25 Thomas is listed as a blacksmith his father is Edward Morris also a blacksmith( the site of the Smithy is still in LLanrug) Mary Grace Morris signed the wedding entry and they were married at St Michaels LLanrug. Interestingly the marriage of Thomas Barma and Jane Jones in 1911 was signed by the same Thomas edward Morris.
Do you think he is linked to your Morris research?
