That link to labs.family search is really good I have now discovered that Alfred Izod, son of John William Izod, travelled to new york in 1852 and married Caroline F ? and had a Cornelia 1854 b. NY and Mary b. 1858 in OHIO, and Alfred in 1862. In 1860 census Caroline F. ? is missing and he has a housekeeper Sarah Ann Duffett whom he subsequently marries. She is born Q3 1839 Clifton, Gloucs. (which is where John William was born)
