William Westnutt

Looking for the parents of William Westnutt who was born abt 1809, possibly in either Caldecot or Kingston.  According to the Cambridge Chronicle dated 15 March 1833, William was hanged on the 5 April 1833.  William had a brother Matthew and that is about all I know.  I would be very grateful for any information about William as I have reason to believe that he is related to my friend's gt. grandfather, William Holden Westnutt, born abt 1838 in Caldecot.  Thank you.

Cambs FHS has an excellent website at http://www.cfhs.org.uk/Search.html which includes a baptism index 1801-37. But there's no William or Matthew Westnut(t). I can only find  Matthew Westnut in the 1851 census in Caldecote aged 29 born Caldecote.

The Caldecote Westn* baptisms don't start until 1815, so yours were either non conformist or weren't baptised or came from elsewhere, possibly a different county
