From details of John Hudson on 1901 census kindly given to me by Rootschat, I then found John on 1881 census with his parents, Levi and Ann Hudson.

Could someone please check an earlier census for me for Levi and family (Levi and Ann 63 on 1881 census).  Levi is down as being born Bon, York (never heard of Bon so would like clarification of place of birth) and Ann born Halifax, Canada.  Levi's occupation - bricklayer.  Family living Market Weighton on 1881 census.  Son John Hudson born 1858 Market Weighton.

With grateful thanks.

Zephyr
