Burial lookup Shepton Beauchamp

Hi everyone

    If anyone has access to the burial records for St Michaels, Shepton Beauchamp Somerset I have an ancestor Joseph Hillard buried here 5/10/1853 I am hoping there is more info on his death i.e date of Death, cause of death, etc

                I would be grateful for anything

I found a link through Genuki to Sarah hawkins transcriptions site - some burial transcriptions which showed up:

        Thanks for this, looking back over my notes I did have Sarah Hawkins site bookmarked but for memory I got Joseph Hillard's burial info from the "Family History online" site.

But I will now review Sarah's site for any other ancestors I may have missed.

Hello Kim,

If you are looking for date of death and cause of death, the best place would be if you can get his death certificate, as it's in 1853, it may well be on the FreeBMD website.
