help finding a photo of a certain street

hi ther not sure if i am putting this request in the correct place, but here goes.

i have tried the manchester council images online but can't seem to find a photo of these streets im looking for.

garden street, chorlton upon medlock 1923 or abouts

syndalle avenue, ardwick manchester 13, 1957 or abouts

any help would be realy appreciated

Hi Westmorland,

There is a picture of Syndall Avenue on the Manchester images site, a nice one with people. Its picture ref m12072, taken 1965.

I find with that site its best to search on the street name only, that is 'Syndall' not 'Syndall Avenue'.  Don't know why, but it always seems to search better on just a single word.

Couldn't see one for Garden St though.
