Frederick Henry COLLYNS was born 13 Nov 1843 in St Sidwell (1843 Q4 Exeter 10 115). His birth cert does not have a father's name and his mother is noted as Eliza COLLYNS (there is no "formerly xyz").
Frederick's siblings were Henrietta Loveday COLLYNS (1840 Q2 Exeter 10 102); Blanche Townsend COLLYNS (1846 Q4 Exeter 10 102); Frank COLLYNS (1849 Q1 Exeter 10 118); Rose COLLYNS (1852?); (Henry 1855?).
I haven't found birth entries for Rose or Henry.
1841 census HO107/268/b2/f10/p15 - St Sidwell, has Eliza 20 with Loveday 1 (mistranscribed as Lovebay) (COLLINS), Susan FORCE 30 and John 10 in the same houshold.
1851 census HO107/1868/f162/p44 - St Sidwell, has Eliza(beth) 29 "U" (I think) with Blanch 4 and Frank 2 (COLLINGS), but not Frederick or Henrietta. Susan FORCE "U" is living alone.
1861 census RG9/1393/f112/p20 - St Sidwell, has Eliza 39 "W" with Frederick 17, Blanch 14, Frank 12 and Henry 7 (COLLINGS).
1861 census RG9/1394/f113/p10 - Rose COLLYNS 9 with Susan FORCE "U" - no relationship noted.
1871 census RG10/2061/f118/p22 - St Sidwell, has Eliza 51 "W" with Henrietta 30 and Rose 19 (COLLINGS).
1881 census RG11/2149/f114/p13 - St Sidwell, has Eliza 60 "W" with Rose 29 and Henry 27 (COLLINGS).
1891 census RG12/1688/f93/p6 - St Sidwell, Has Eliza 75 "W" with Henrietta 49 and her husband, John MADGE 48, and their children.
Henrietta COLLINGS married John MADGE (1872 Q3 Exeter 5b 117). I have her on the 1841/1871/1891/1901 censuses.
Frederick COLLINGS married Eliza Ann GITSHAM (1869 Q3 Exeter 5b 180). I have him on the 1861 census. He moved to Cork, Ireland with Eliza and children about 1880. Frederick's marriage cert gives his father as Frederick COLLYNS.
Frederick and Eliza had Louisa Ellen (1870 Q1 Exeter 5b 88); Frederick Henry (27 Jul 1872 - but can't find birth entry); Emma Edith (1879 Q2 Exeter 5b 83)(direct line); Reginald John (1879 Q1 Exeter 5b 107) and reportedly Rose and Gerry, but do not have birth entries for them. possibly born after family moved to Cork.
Blanche COLLINS married John Ford GANNICLIFF(1864 Q4 Exeter 5b 174) . I have her on the 1851/1861/1871 censuses. (1871 is mistranscribed as Gannielefft).
Frank COLLINGS married Elizabeth TRAYES (1880 Q4 Plymouth 5b 546). I have him on the 1851/1861 censuses.
Is there a relationship between Eliza COLLYNS and Susan FORCE?
Where is Henrietta on the 1851/1861/1881 censuses?
Where is Frederick on the 1851/1871 censuses?
Where are the birth entries for Rose and Henry?
Who did Blanche marry and where is she after 1871?
Where is Frank on the 1871 onwards censuses?
Is there a Frederick COLLYNS snr or is this a made up name on Frederick's marriage cert?
Where is the birth entry for Frederick Henry jnr? What about Rose or Gerry?
Any other info also greatly appreciated.
