UPDATED - Penrith Deanery Burials - THOMPSON

Following on from our breakthrough yesterday  , would it be possible to have another lookup please? This time for THOMPSON at Netherend, Penrith?

Mary THOMPSON nee SOWERBY was the mother of Jane SHUFFLEBOTHAM nee THOMPSON and Mary died before the 1841 Census. Mary married John or Jonathan THOMPSON in 1790 so born about 1769 or so.

John/Jonathan may have remarried but if you could check for a burial for him as well please? All our THOMPSON's seem to have been at Netherend in 1841!

Sorry - no mention of Netherend on any Thompson burials.  The transcript only starts at 1813 though so they may have died earlier.  There is a Mary age 44 in Dockwray in 1814 and another age 78 in 1839, also in Dockwray.

Thanks very much for that. Yes, you could be right. Youngest daughter was born in 1810 so Mary might have died about then.

Dockray in 1814 might be a possibility. Really need to see the parish registers now to check the christenings as they may have moved to Netherend later. The age would certainly be right as born about 1770.

Have just realised the full dates were not included for the two Mary THOMPSON's who died at Dockray in 1814 and 1839! May I have them please in case they prove of relevance? Thank you!

Would it be possible to have any other THOMPSON's mentioned who died at Dockray please in case there is a clue there somewhere? It will be some months before our fhc reopens to order the parish register for St Andrew's, Penrith.

Could you also check for a burial for Andrew Anderson INNES please?
