Lookup Request - Thomas Severs resident in Scarborough 1903

I am trying to find out about a Thomas Severs & Elizabeth Ellen Severs nee Ollis nee Potter. Thomas & Elizabeth are the parents of Harry Marshall Severs born 25/12/1903 and resident at 25 Hoxton Road, Scarborough.

I would like to find out more about the Severs family and connections to scarborough. There seems to be a lot of Severs in Yorkshire.

I have seen on freeBMD a Thomas Severs who is the son of a Watson Severs from Whitby. I am thinking that Harry Marshall Severs may have been named by his father after a Marshall Severs from Whitby who died when he was 19.

It is fascinating as my Wife who was born in Derbyshire could have family history in Scarborough & Yorkshire.

Any help I would really appreciate.

Do you already have Thomas and Elizabeth's marriage cert to confirm his approx birth date and father's name?
