surname interest - ORMISTON

seeking info on the surname Ormiston. I have just a little info at present, currently trying to built on info from headstone in Gladsmuir cemetery.

Mary Ormiston b1911 Gladsmuir died 1989 Tranent aged 78 buried Gladsmuir.
Mary Ormiston m James Leishman unknown date
James Leishman b1902 Aberlady died 1971 Tranent buried Gladsmuir
so far have found 1 daughter Mary Ormiston Leishman abt1935 died 2003 Tranent, aged 68.

any help to expand on this Ormiston family,  much appreciated

I have gained info from my orginal posting 
Mary Ormiston b1911 died 1989 was infact Mary Ormiston Tulloch the illigtimate daughter of Mary Ormiston b1877 Gladsmuir married afterwards to Thomas Grantham.
Other info I have is parents of Mary Ormiston b1877 as John Ormiston b1854 Gladsmuir and Janet Fairgrieves with 7children
John Ormiston b1854 parents as Peter Ormiston babt1833 and Elizabeth Hogg with 10 children.

Good you are helping me, but not sure where John Ormiston b1854 parents as Peter Ormiston babt1833 and Elizabeth Hogg with 10 children come into my tree.

Janet Fairgrieve Ormiston married John Paterson.
This is the rest of the children from John Ormiston and Janet Fairgrieve, Peter 1873, John 1875, Mary 1877, James 1879, Marion 1890.

I have only Janet's marriage.

I have a Janet Ormiston b1894 Gladsmuir, daughter of John Ormiston and Janet Fairgrieve but after reading your post did a free check on SP and realised this is actually Janet Fairgrieve Ormiston b1894 Gladsmuir. This would make Janet Fairgrieve Ormiston the daughter of John Ormiston and Janet Fairgrieve and grand daughter of Peter Ormiston and Elizabeth Hogg.

I have now got John Ormiston and Janet's marriage certificate, and it verfies that Peter Ormiston and Isabella Hogg were his paernts.

Peter Ormiston and Janet Fairgrieve are as far back as I have,can give you Janets parents if you wish or maybe you prefer to do it yourself
