Seasons Greetings Clannessie,

I am a stranger around these parts. I am from the north of Ireland. Since you have been waiting since February I feel you deserve some sort of a reply so
I have done some surfing on your behalf and have found some information about people by the name of McBee prior to the time they emigrated to America www.mcbeefamily.homestead.com. You have not mentioned dates or names so presumably you are seeking general rather than specific information.
Are you prepared to accept that the name may be McBean rather than McBee? If so then this site www.cursiter.com/txt-exe-files/Brotcmar.txt mentions the marriage on 18th May 1835 of Donald Brotchie to Elizabeth McBean at Inverness.  If you would like to go the McBean route there are more McBeans in Inverness as well as Bains and McBains in Ireland. I feel some one else will read this message and find something about McBees.

All the best and a Happy New Year,

Christopher
