re Mcormack/Cormick family
« on: Thursday 11 December 08 17:59 GMT (UK) »
I would like to trace an Annie Diver who was married to a ?? Mc Cormack and lived in Derry in early 1900's. She had 2 children that I know of , a son John and a daughter Kathleen. John who was a bank official had a son Hugh
I know this information is very sketchy but it is all I have. If anyone could help me out with where to go about getting records I would be very grateful. Please and thank you

Hi, it may not be relevant but    JOHN McCORMICK married ELIZABETH DIVER in Shankill Church of Ireland, Shankill, Belfast 0n 30 Oct 1910. I can find no reference to them in Londonderry but did notice that the name Diver, although uncommon,  is less so in Donegal.

Thanks Kingskerswell for your research on my behalf. I do not knok if this is the same McCormick as I think both families were staunch R.C'S but I will follow it up. My Diver lady I thought was Annie and she was from Stranolar. They definitely lived in Derry and their daughter Kathleen was involved in drama
