Lookup request - William Hill & Mary of Sibbertoft

I would like find out about William Hill & Mary of Sibbertoft both born in the 1790's. I did have a look at the Sibbertoft & Wootton records at the records office but couldnt find anything at the time.

The earliest I have found them is in the 1841 census living in Wootton where they are both in there fifties and the children have already fled the nest.

When I first started doing my family history the children I found were John Elijah Hill born 1812 who went on to marry Mary Andrew of East Haddon in 1829, George Hill born abt 1814 who went on to marry Charlotte Martin, William Hill baptised 20 Oct 1816 at Wootton, who later went on to marry Mary Ann Peach in July 1840. Then there's possibly a Sarah Ann Hill born in 1818. I think Sarah Ann went on to marry William Chapman in Dec 1836.

I would like to find out a maiden name for Mary. How does one research into the 1790's and beyond?. 

Any help is always greatly appreciated.

Hello. I went to the record office on Thursday on a mission looking this one up but did not have much joy.

According to the church of latter-day saints IGI William Hill is baptised on 20 Oct 1816 in Wootton. I need to go to the records office again for another look. records office were saying try looking up William in militia lists. 

However I did find lots of other things connected which I have been busy checking up against freeBMD.
