Iam looking for Sheppard Families from Cork or anyone who was related or knew to the late Benny Sheppard .

Not that I've found a single thing out about them yet, but I think some of my family are descended from George Sheppard, who was apparently an Irish sea captain. His daughter, Eliza Rosina, was born in 1884 in Kinsale, Cork... do you think there might be some crossover, or are you looking for a different bunch/time?

Benny Shephard was my grandfather but I know nothing about him or his family . He went back to Ireland before my mother was born in the 1940s so If you have any info of Shephards from around that area keep in touch.

I have recently found out Benny came from Dublin not Cork as I thought , there seems to be a few possibilities but I could do with access to the electrol roll for Dublin , there is only one year on line I could find so I may have to take a trip to Ireland to find out .

Would your Benny Sheppard have been born around early 1900's.  I had a look at
the Irish census for 1911 and found one Benjamin Sheppard aged 9 but living in
Kings County ( which is now Co. Offaly.)
Born about 1902 if you got the marriage cert you could check his age to see if it ties in!
