Is anyone able to check a marriage for me?
I think I may have the wrong family!
Someone has put a scan ...... but I still don't know if this will tell me the names of the grooms parents.
John Storie married Sarah Mcallister in St Quivox Ayr 1840 which I got from family search. I've got lots of info on this couple but don't think he is "my" John Storie. I can only know by his parents Thomas Storie & Elizabeth Campbell. Someone contacted me through Genes Reunited & I started sending him lots of documents but he was told by his Grandfather that the family came from Renfrew & mine came from Ireland & went to Ayr Scotland mid 1820's
I happened to see the scan but am not a member & if it isn't my ancestor then I don't want to pay to view it. At least someone can benefit from all the research I've done
