Waikumete Cemetery - ***COMPLETE***
« on: Wednesday 07 January 09 06:37 GMT (UK) »
Hi There,

I was just wondering if any one has a map of Waikumete Cemetery with the names of all the little roads in there.

If so I would like a copy of it please so that I can use it when I come up to Auckland soon

Cheers

I did have one but it does not name all the little roads in the cemetery and that is what I would really like

Or should I say paths in the cemetery

Newbe,

Have you tried asking the cemetery for a map?

Cheers

Hi Mk2ephyr

A little area or path named Anzalea Avenue.  I am trying to work out where it is in the cemetery and is it close to the office or far away.  A couple of my rellies are there.

Main road to the new graves,

Enter main gate (Grt Nth Rd) drive past office and crem and its first right.

Not little lane, main road,  :)

In area 5,  2 Roman Cath lawns, hebrew section, childrens section, some protestants and the new burial area.

If facing cemetery from Grt Nth rd, area is to front right.

another gate on Awaroa rd (next to Kelston Community Centre) also takes you on to Anzalea.

 :)

Thanks Mk2

I will be walking I think as will be going by bus unless i get a ride from my uncle.

Received a map of cemetery via email but they have put the wrong code at end of it so am unable to open it on my computer.

Have forward the email back to them to see if they can send it again.

it had a .tif  at end of it instead of .tiff

Hopefully I get an email back from them soon
