FTM 2009
« on: Friday 09 January 09 17:26 GMT (UK) »
I may be in the wrong place for this but, here goes!

I've read somewhere, and I can't remember where (old age etc!!) that someone gave out a warning about the latest edition of FTM and the small print.  Something to do with a tick box, which may or may not mean that your tree will be down/up-loaded onto the internet.  Was it here on Rootschat?  I've had a look at my other contact areas, local FHS booklets, Ancestor magazine, but can't locate it.

Or am I just going mad?   ::) ::) ::) :-\

As far as I am aware FTM 2009 gives you the option to upload your tree but its not automatic. I believe the tick box you refer to is if you join ancestry and upload a tree you have an option to deny ancestry the choice of using your research but I may be wrong.
