Graves R Us
« on: Friday 09 January 09 23:38 GMT (UK) »
Ecneps, Nutty1966 and myself are getting together on Monday 19th Jan and thought we'd like to do a spot of grave hunting.......however, we have no immediate graves to search for ourselves

so..

If there is anyone with graves they want looked for in the Middlesbrough/ Redcar/ Guisborough/ Stokesley general area, please post your request and we'll do our best to find it  :)

If you don't know where yours is in relation to that area post it anyway and we'll let you know where it is  :D

If we get some too far apart we'll do what we can and the others another day  :)

Many thanks,

The Graves R Us team  ;)

We'd particularly like to go somewhere where there's a nice warm place to have lunch, so please bear that in mind when making your requests

Absolutely!  Of graves though hopefully, you wouldn't want any more pics of us now, would you?

Did you ever get Harriet's grave number for Linthorpe?

(although we'd rather have a day out a bit further afield)

Hi:  I've got some burials at St Cuthbert, Eston, but really don't know if there is a corresponding gravestone:

Family name is Archbell - Mother Hannah is the first buried 27 February 1856, followed closely by two sons George 7 July 1859 and William 16 August 1859.  Father William appears to have been buried at Eston Cemetery 21 March 1864.

Plus Wilton by Redcar - Margaret Hannah Archbell aged 6 months 29 November 1859, closely followed by father John 21 April 1860. Again I have no idea if there is a gravestone.

All the above came from the parish records, which I found in Middlesbrough Archives on a visit last year.

Not sure if this is enough information for you.  Not that I've got much more other than ages and where they came from.

Cheers
