It appears that although my Gearge was a cabinet maker, this is not him.

I seem to recall that mine was married to a Christina Burgess.

there was a george kerr married to christina burgess but i thought he was a farmer over at lochmaben  i did notice the one at queensberry st did have a daughter christina in the 1841 census also did you see a robert kennedy age 1 at same address csc
