I have just received a copy of a will from National Archives.
This last will and testament was proved by Abraham Coldbeck a mason from Whitehaven.
The drawing up of the will was 28/03/1809.
It doesn`t give details that I can read about the date when Abraham died ( could have been 05/05/1809 )
He bequeathed monies to the following.
Mary Ferguison ( as written ) neice.
Barbara Crane Cousin
Sarah Graham Housekeeper.
Mary Coulson Sister
Then the bulk of the estate went to his brother James Coldbeck.
Can anyone find records of any of the named people.
Mary Coulson may have been Mary Coldbeck if only married once.
I have an Abraham Coldbeck in my ancestors 22/09/1723 Gosforth Cumberland.
I wondered if he were related to this Abraham who bequeathed monies in will.
