I found likely matches for Ralph on a number of passenger lists. I also found a few that matched Thomas with a California address and said he was born 14 Mar 1895 in East Orange, New Jersey. The California death index at rootsweb.com has a Thomas Nast Sthill, born 3/14/1895 in New Jersey and died in Mendocino on 9/10/1985. His mother's maiden name was Nast.
